In 2004, I fell in LOVE! Hair became my lifestyle. From national competitions to working and learning abroad, doing hair on Costa Cruise Lines, previously owning a salon and spa and most importantly creating amazing connections and friendships with so many different people. This career was made for me.

As some of you may know, working with Aveda has been a HUGE part of my hair life! I have now newly fallen in love with Davines and I am sure you will too! I am so grateful of all my past experiences after 19 years in the industry because they have brought me to where I am suppose to be now, creating June & Flora just for YOU.

I specialize in hair colour, blondes in particular and I am officially a Certified Master of Balayage. I also help you master waving your hair.
I have an online course called HAIR WAVES FOR DAYS , that will teach you step by step by step on how to curl your hair and have it last for days!

I love making sure your experience with me respects your time and that your hair fits your lifestyle. Busy moms and professionals, I've got you covered! My expertise is creating dimensional blondes and brunettes! I love me some short textured cuts too ;)

I am proud to share that I am maman to Luca Hendrix, and dog mom to my rescue.
I get inspired and revived by travelling and I am obsessed with beaches and sunsets.

My love for the beauty industry started as far as I can remember! I couldn't wait to give my Pocahontas barbie a better and more practical look - or maybe it all started when I started up my DIY hair salon with hand crafted business cards that got passed on around in 6th grade?

At 15 years old, I started my first job as a hair assistant. After 5 years of amazing hands-on learning experience, I decided to pursue my certification in both hairstyling and aesthetics, a decision that I never look back on. Fast forward 12 years and I consider my self extremely lucky to still love what I do as a senior hair artist every single day.
​

I specialize and love doing balayage, and have a soft spot for blondes. I always keep up with the latest trends so I can offer you my best and ensure you have easy to maintain hair that keeps up with a busy lifestyle. I also love to share my knowledge, and am more than happy to teach you some of my pro secrets when curling your hair.

My mission is to create exactly what my guests imagine when they sit down in my chair. I pride myself in making people smile, and ensuring your customer experience is nothing but the best. The goal is easy, make you look your best, but also give you a break from the real world while I pamper you. From freshly brewed coffee to great scalp massages - I got you ;)

When I'm not at June & Flora, you can find me in the sun by my pool with my family by my side (or dreaming of a beach... always a beach). During the peak of summer, if I don't have sunburn on my nose something might be wrong. My fiancé and I are not only proud cat & dog parents but are also so lucky to be auntie & unkie to the best 8 nieces and nephews. I look forward to the day we will have our own to take them across the world with us. I LOVE to travel, and if you have any hidden gems I'd love to hear all about it.

Independent Senior Hair Stylist
I started doing hair in 1995. Even though I was really young, I knew this was the right path for me. After graduating from hairstyling school in Croatia, I have extended my education at the most prestigious hair academy in London (UK) called Vidal Sassoon.
My education there was for both hair cutting and hair colouring.
​
After moving to Canada in 2013, I continued my education and started specializing in curly hair. Currently I am working with 2A to 3C type curl.
​
I do however offer all services from straight to curly! My specializations range from hair cutting, foiling, balayage techniques to colour corrections but I do not perform mens haircuts.
My style is modern classic and I tend to do more soft natural looks.
​
As some of you may know, I am a HUGE animal lover, so if you have pets, be prepared to show me photos :)
I also have good Netflix recommendations up my sleeve!

I started my hair journey when I was a teenager helping my aunt at her salon in Ukraine. After completing a formal training in 2003, I moved to Dubai where I was fortunate to work with L'Oreal and Tony and Guy educator on the salon floor and backstage for local TV and fashion shows.

Since moving to Canada in 2014 , I have advanced my training with Aveda and have learned how to cut curly hair, respecting its natural texture and movement.
​
My specialties are colour, especially low maintenance lived in blondes, curly hair ( up to 3C), modern freehand shags, tousled bobs and pixies.
​
I always want to hear about your lifestyle and routine to give you a haircut and colour that is perfect for your personal style. Of course I will send you home with lots of styling tips and after care advice.

When I am not behind the chair, I love being outdoors skiing or swimming with my kids and our noisy beagle

I've loved the arts for as long as I can remember! Drawing, painting, theatre, tattoos, makeup, and of course where I have found my home, hair! I attended St. Lawrence College, in Kingston back in 2021. Since then I have had the honor to meet and learn from many amazing stylists.

I love creating a bright lived-in blonde or the most expensive-dimensional brunette! Big blowouts and jaw-dropping transformations have my heart. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful!

You'll find me on campus at Carleton University when I am not in the salon! I am currently a Psychology student with dreams of becoming a therapist! (Or as some may say a "Hairapist", if you will.) I am fascinated with how the brain works and how we are all interacting with the world around us.

At the end of my days, I enjoy getting snuggled up with a coffee and a good book, I promise to always have recommendations for my fellow romance and fantasy readers.

From the moment I could crawl, I was wreaking havoc in the world of hair, armed with scissors and a dangerously vivid imagination. My dolls? They became casualties of bizarre hairdos. My pets? Let's just say they got unexpected makeovers, earning me the title of 'family rebel'. I mean, good intentions count for something, right?
Flash forward to 2004, I decided to turn my scissor-wielding antics into a career. Enrolled in a reputable hair academy, I emerged not only with a diploma in makeup artistry but also with a fiery passion that could probably set hairspray alight! For 17 years, I've been living, breathing, and probably eating hair (not literally, health and safety, folks).
My mission? To make every head I touch a walking masterpiece. Each client is my muse, their hair a canvas for my artistry. The joy on their faces after a hair transformation? That's my kind of high.
Now, let's get something straight - or curly, or dyed, whatever floats your boat. Updos and men's cuts aren't my jam. But blondes, balayage, and bold colors? That's where I'm the queen bee. And color corrections? I'm like a superhero with a hairbrush, turning hair disasters into dreams.

When I'm not wielding my hair wand, you'll find me pumping iron at the gym. Because who says you can't have muscles and a killer blowout? Weekends are for family and friends , my two loyal labs and come summer , I’ll be out and about soaking up as much sun as possible !
